Layered in wool
Why wool is worth it.
Wool fibres are naturally springy, so a wool rug bounces back where synthetics flatten. It resists stains, is slow to burn and feels warm in winter and cool in summer.
New wool rugs shed loose fibre for the first few weeks. That is normal, and it settles.

Some rugs go in a home washing machine. Washable sizes up to 160 x 230 cm fit a 9 kg front-loader. Larger sizes are too bulky for most home machines, and we say so on the page.
